Inés Verdugo (Guatemala 1983) was formed as a special educator in Ciudad de Guatemala and then obtained a specialization in art education in Complutense University of Madrid. Through its practice as an educator she involved in art. Maintains a constant search among education, art and life.
Build situations, games or personal rituals where her body enter the scene and explores the relationship of their being with the environment. Inside her solitude addresses repetitive actions and plays with the experiences of the past, present and future creating actions between fiction and reality. Their processes are linked to a constant exploration and reflection on the human condition and the relationship we experience with our body and emotional dimension.
For eight years development a program called Puro Arte, an arts education center for people with intellectual disabilities that promoted dignity and personal potential in a support space for artistic exploration.
